With 100% of precincts reporting, congratulations to AAPS BoE Trustee-elects
Jeff Gaynor, Krystle R. DuPree, and Ernesto Quierijero!
I want to take time to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your campaign support. Despite the challenges of a completely changed campaigning landscape, your support and our efforts resulted in 19,840 votes. I am proud of our efforts and am at peace with the results of the vote.
The challenges the board will face are vast. I stand behind the new members and the current board in making decisions that are in the best interest of our students, that show collaboration and creativity, and that allow every child to work to their highest potential. I challenge them to be communicative and transparent in working with the public on these issues, and honoring the values of our community.
I am grateful for every friend and volunteer who has taken time to help me in pursuit of this goal. Please join me in supporting their efforts to improve our schools and holding them accountable to our needs.
